The Squeezy Scooper is a fine motor tool for toddlers which can be used in independent play to scoop up small objects. It can be used in sensory bins, sandboxes and water tables.
Fine motor tools help exercise the fine muscles of the hand and fingers. They mimic the finger and thumb movements needed for pre-writing skills, pincer grip development, pre-cutting skills and hand-eye coordination. The squeezy scooper mimics the finger and thumb movement for the pincer grip as well as the squeezing action i.e. the push and release action. It develops pincer grip as well as hand-eye coordination.
It is made of virgin plastic and sized appropriately for toddlers’ hands.
